YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
- Leading daily operations of the civil engineering department, offering strategic direction and ensuring project quality and compliance with industry standards.
- Overseeing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for multiple civil engineering projects.
- Building and maintaining client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, and identifying new business opportunities.
- Guiding and mentoring engineers and staff, promoting a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
- Providing technical expertise, conducting reviews, and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Collaborating across departments and contributing to senior management discussions to support company objectives.
- Representing the firm at industry associations, workshops, and seminars.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree preferred)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Minimum of 10 years of civil engineering experience, including 5+ years in management
- Proficiency in project management software and engineering design tools
- Expertise in transportation, infrastructure, and/or site development
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
COMPENSATION: $145K to $170K USD
