We are looking for an experienced Recruiter to join our client, a global leader in supply chain solutions specializing in logistics, port operations, and trade facilitation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruitment, with expertise in screening, interviewing, and hiring processes. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
- Collaborating with managers to understand hiring needs for each role and aligning recruitment efforts with business goals.
- Overseeing the full recruitment lifecycle, assisting managers in sourcing, hiring, and retaining top talent.
- Working closely with the recruiting team and senior leadership to develop and refine effective hiring strategies.
- Actively engaging with job boards, social networks, and other platforms to attract high-quality candidates, while crafting and posting job descriptions.
- Leveraging multiple sourcing channels and implementing creative strategies to identify and connect with potential candidates and prospect new business opportunities.
- Reviewing resumes and applications, guiding candidates through the hiring process from initial screening to offer negotiation.
- Maintaining and updating a database of candidate records, tracking both active and passive talent pools.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience as a recruiter, either in-house or within a staffing agency.
- Proficiency with job boards and HR-specific software systems.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct interviews through various formats, including phone, video, email, and in-person.
- Hands-on experience with recruiting software, HRIS, or HRMS platforms.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
- Human Resources certification is considered an asset.
- Fluency in English.
- Previous experience working in Canada or directly with Canadian industries.
COMPENSATION:
- $48.72 – $53.85/hour ($95,000 – $105,000/year).
