  • Supporting proposal preparation and scope development.
  • Facilitating the delivery of small to large heavy industrial projects by undertaking engineering, designing, and technical tasks. 
  • Managing project delivery across all phases, from concept to start-up, including construction and commissioning support.
  • Conducting calculations, studies, and reports, including grounding, lighting protection, load studies, and arc flash.
  • Developing equipment specifications for procurement.
  • Collaborating with other disciplines for design coordination, including Civil, Structural, and Mechanical. 
  • Providing mentorship to junior engineers and team members, ensuring high-quality engineering deliverables consistent with project standards and safety requirements.
  • Maintaining regular correspondence with clients and external personnel.
  • Offering short-term field support during construction.
  • Contributing to power distribution design and Arc Flash reports.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Professional Engineer registration, or eligibility.
  • Experience working in heavy industrial environments.
  • Strong technical expertise in power distribution, electrical rooms, MCCs, VFDs, transmission, and heavy industrial power systems.
  • Familiarity with P&IDs, PFDs, and equipment specifications.
  • Proficient in the engineering and design process, including front-end engineering, cost estimates, gated reviews, detailed engineering, and construction support.
  • Experience in both brownfield and greenfield projects.
  • Proficiency in National Electrical Code.
  • Skilled in AutoCAD and MS Office.
  • Effective communication skills and confidence when coordinating with project teams and clients.
  • Completion of background check and drug test prior to employment.
