THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a talented HR Coordinator to join our client, a global leader in supply chain solutions, specializing in logistics, port operations, and trade facilitation. This role is vital in supporting HR operations by managing key programs such as recruitment and onboarding. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth administrative processes, maintaining accurate records, and assisting the HR team with various initiatives. With a focus on efficiency and organization, you will help drive a positive employee experience while supporting overall HR functions.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Managing the onboarding process for new hires and facilitating offboarding for departing employees.
  • Assisting with recruitment by creating and updating job descriptions, posting job ads, scheduling interviews, maintaining recruitment records, and handling all pre-employment documentation.
  • Conducting phone screenings, evaluating candidates, and providing feedback to the recruiter.
  • Preparing employee-related documents, including employment verification and offer letters.
  • Responding to HR-related inquiries and requests.
  • Coordinating internal communications related to new hires, promotions, job openings, and other HR updates.
  • Providing administrative and coordination support to the HR team as needed.
  • Contributing to HR projects, including system improvements, development, testing, and implementation of internal HR systems.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A degree or diploma in Human Resources is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR, customer service, or administrative roles.
  • Previous experience in recruitment is an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships in a team environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, manage multiple priorities, and handle competing deadlines.
  • Proven ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.

COMPENSATION:

  • $33.33 – $35.90/hour ($65,000 – $70,000/year).
