YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

• Overseeing end-to-end ownership of projects with moderate scope and complexity (ranging in size from $500K to $10 million+)
• Providing support by conveying policies and priorities, directing work, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring issues and resolved or escalated as needed
• Executing project plans according to established PMO project methodologies
• Monitoring project charter, plans, budget, scope, schedule, expenditures, client satisfaction, and risks
• Reporting on variances and impacts to deliverables
• Participating in and/or leading meetings throughout the project lifecycle
• Managing project plans including tracking, monitoring, and communicating project progress, requirements, quality measures, controlling of scope, and change control processes

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Electrical, Systems, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering Degree from a recognized university
• P.Eng. designation or ability to register as a Professional with Engineers and Geoscientists BC
• Minimum 2 years’ Project Management experience working on projects of various sizes
• Ability to anticipate, plan, and see the larger perspective in project scope, scheduling and planning
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written, oral, and presentation)
• Proven experience building strong relationships with project sponsors, senior management, external providers, business partners, and stakeholders
• PMP and IT Project Management Certification will be considered assets
