Senior Electrical Engineer

Ideal candidates will have the ability to independently manage projects, supported by junior engineers, designers, and other resources. You will apply your engineering and project management skills to oversee projects from conceptual design to completion, including power, lighting, fire alarm, security, and communications systems for both new construction and renovation projects.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
- Overseeing the successful delivery of projects.
- Ensuring the financial success of projects.
- Managing diverse projects of various sizes, including offices, schools, universities, healthcare facilities, retail spaces, airports, residential, and mixed-use buildings.
- Preparing drawings and specifications.
- Coordinating with clients, internal and external team members, utilities, and industry professionals.
- Handling construction administration as needed.
- Managing and training engineers and designers.
- Providing opportunities for continuing education and professional development.
- Engaging in marketing and business development as appropriate.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10+ years of relevant work experience.
- Professional Engineering designation (P.Eng).
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM360, power systems modelling software, and lighting design modelling software.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- P.E.
- PMP
- LEED AP BD+C
- Experience in renewable energy, electric vehicle, charging, ICT/IMIT, or architectural lighting design will be considered an asset.
COMPENSATION:
- $100,000 – 130,000, annually.
