YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
- Overseeing all core Human Resources functions, including employee relations, compensation, benefits, retention, organizational development, workplace safety, training, and HR records management.
- Leading full-cycle recruitment activities, including workforce planning, sourcing strategies, and hiring process oversight.
- Managing payroll, benefits, and HRIS administration for Canadian and U.S. employees, including payroll processing, reconciliations, remittances, and regulatory filings.
- Developing, maintaining, and implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs to support compliance and organizational effectiveness.
- Designing and delivering employee training, onboarding, and professional development initiatives to support engagement and performance.
- Overseeing performance management processes, including annual reviews, performance improvement planning, and related employee development initiatives.
- Providing leadership coaching and HR advisory support on employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution, and workplace issues.
- Partnering with senior leadership to identify HR priorities, support organizational planning, and contribute to workforce strategy and culture development.
- Leading, mentoring, and developing HR team members through ongoing coaching and support.
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies, while identifying and managing HR-related risks in coordination with external advisors when required.
- Maintaining accurate employee records and preparing HR reports, analytics, and documentation for operational and regulatory requirements.
- Promoting a positive, inclusive, and accountable workplace culture through communication, engagement initiatives, and leadership support.
- Serving as an escalation point for employee concerns and supporting timely resolution of workplace issues.
- Performing additional HR-related duties and special projects as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources management.
- Bachelor’s Degree, College Diploma, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in Human Resources or a related field.
- CHRP or other recognized HR designation is considered an asset.
- Experience with full-cycle payroll administration; PCP designation considered an asset.
- Knowledge of Canadian and U.S. employment legislation and HR practices is considered an asset.
- Experience working with ADP Workforce or similar HRIS/payroll systems preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and diplomacy.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience mentoring and developing team members.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and other business software applications.
COMPENSATION:
- $110,000/year
