Intermediate Structural Engineer

Their growing team is currently looking for an Intermediate Structural Engineer to join their creative and engaged team in the Orillia, Ontario office.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
As an Intermediate Engineer, you will take responsibility for stamping and sealing drawings, overseeing structural design and analysis, and managing deliverables to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with codes and standards.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
- Perform structural analysis and design of building structures, retrofits, and remedial solutions.
- Stamp drawings and calculations in accordance with provincial regulations.
- Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and reports.
- Conduct construction site reviews to ensure compliance with engineered designs.
- Support project managers with schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to achieve project objectives.
- Apply building codes, standards, and engineering best practices in all work.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Registered P.Eng. in Ontario.
- At least 6–7 years of total Canadian engineering experience:
- 4 years as an EIT, plus
- Minimum 2 years actively stamping/sealing drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and structural analysis software; Revit experience is an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
COMPENSATION: $100,000 – $110,000 depending on experience.
