YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
- Leading cross-functional project development for the US market, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, especially structural engineers.
- Serving as the main point of contact for clients throughout all project phases, providing consistent updates and progress reports.
- Planning, coordinating, and managing milestone-based schedules for structural engineering scopes from project kickoff through to construction close-out.
- Designing and developing structural concepts and timber connection solutions that are effective, efficient, and compliant with local building codes, while emphasizing sustainability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Preparing executive-level reports summarizing structural designs and overall project progress.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering, or an equivalent qualification, with practical experience in timber construction.
- Extensive knowledge of timber structural systems, especially Mass Timber construction methods including CLT and Glulam.
- Solid understanding of engineering and construction fundamentals, with direct experience applying US building codes.
- Skilled in using standard structural engineering software.
- Demonstrated ability to manage several projects simultaneously and coordinate construction documentation processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-driven, proactive, and collaborative in approach.
COMPENSATION: USD $110k-$130k base + 10% bonus
