THE OPPORTUNITY:
Our client is a multidisciplinary engineering firm specializing in electrical systems and industrial automation. They are seeking a full‑time BIM Modeler/Coordinator to support their engineering team. Their work serves a range of sectors, including light rail and rapid transit, Marine, Mining and Port and Terminal operations.
This is primarily a BIM Modeler/Coordinator role and will play a key role in BIM technology to support engineering coordination, model development, and project delivery.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
- Develop, modify, and manage electrical/MEP Revit models.
- Coordinate models across disciplines and perform clash detection using Navisworks.
- Manage BIM deliverables through Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and Build.
- Ensure compliance with client standards, BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), and ISO 19650 requirements.
- Participate in coordination meetings with internal teams, consultants, and clients.
- Maintain consistent standards for model structure, naming conventions, and data quality.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree or diploma in Electrical or Structural Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in MEP design, BIM coordination, and Revit/AutoCAD production.
- Advanced Revit proficiency, including families, worksets, and model management.
- Experience with AutoCAD, ACC, Build, and Navisworks Manage.
- Understanding of ISO 19650 and BIM Execution Plans.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with electrical engineering and construction workflows.
- Dynamo programming experience is an asset.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and processes.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
